Jacqui has a BA cum laude from UNISA in Linguistics and Psychology and is certified with the SA Writers College. She is a member of the Professional Editor's Guild: Membership No. COR002

Books have always been in Jacqui's life. She has been fascinated with words since she was a child and she loves the way writers can transport you to another world - even if just for a little while.

She worked in gaming for nineteen years, but a part of her always knew something was missing. So, she turned her attention to editing seven years ago and has been helping writers to bring their stories to life ever since.

She works mainly in fiction but has also dealt with narrative non-fiction and has covered genres ranging from fantasy to YA to thrillers to books on health. She formats fiction for Amazon and Smashwords too. Her editing covers developmental editing (working with the plot and characters and their development and integration in the story) as well as copy editing (grammar, punctuation, consistency, and style) and proofreading.

When she's not editing, she's reading and doing reviews for publishing houses, or giving fitness classes.
